🤓 Some of what you can expect from Episode Two:
THE IMPACT OF GIRL POWER:
POGS!…REMEMBER THEM?
WHEN IT WAS COOL TO BE MEAN…
THIS JAPANESE CANDY COMMERCIAL FT. BRITNEY SPEARS FROM 1999:
Kristen Ginn is a genius, multifaceted creative known for her iconic handbag designs worn by celebrities like Lizzo and Kendall Jenner. She was also the creative brains behind the luxury marijuana line Flower by Edie Parker. Kristen worked for brands like Tory Burch and Coach before making the leap to Edie Parker and continuing with her design ventures (like creating a handmade flute case for Lizzo).
Now she is the new Acting Creative Director for, Houseplant, injecting her artistry into Seth Rogen’s world of weed.
As always, this week's word association leads to a vast array of topics that couldn't happen any other way. We discuss the subconscious need to censor yourself after working for brands with such strong identities, the front we all put on for social media, Kristen’s former cheerleading career (she's sexy! She's cute! She's popular to boot!), and the Spice Girls.

What do you do/where do you look when the well is dry and need creative inspiration?
I head to one of New York's many unbelievable museums - Mainly MoMA. I try to go once a month.
Reflecting on your career path thus far, what’s one lesson you could pass on to aspiring designers?
Create, create, create. Keep making things, painting, and crafting items- the more you make, the more you can boil down what you are good at, drawn to, and inspired by.
We talked about your cheerleading days during the interview. Looking back, what's your favorite cheer move or memory?
Considering my cheerleading days were limited to the ages of 8-12, most of my memories involve how off-beat most of my moves were.
Who WAS your favorite Spice Girl growing up, and who IS your favorite Spice Girl now? (And why?)
My favorite Spice Girl is all the Spice Girls. They are all perfect (literally), and my favorite changes from day to day. Some days I'm Baby, some days I'm Posh - some days I am Sporty.
What’s your favorite color crayon right now?
Glitter Lavender.
What’s your top fashion prediction for 2023?
Irrelevance, Da-Da Desk to Dinner, One-Color-Dressing.
